Establishment of ANE in USA

The Association of Nigerian Exporters USA, Inc was incorporated with the Office of Georgia Secretary of State, Atlanta on May 12, 2010 to promote Trade and Investment between Nigeria and the Americas (North and South). The Government of the State of Georgia had granted approval to the Association of Nigerian Exporters to open a Trade Office in the State.

A letter signed by the Georgia State Chief of Protocol reads in part:

“We sincerely appreciate your consideration in locating this trade office in the State of Georgia. Our state is home to 70 countries with official representation through Consulates, Honorary Consulates, Trade Commissions or Bi-national Chambers of Commerce. We hope that the Association of Nigerian Exporters’ trade office will be a part of this integral network that encourages investment into and trade with the State of Georgia.

We appreciate that you have obtained a certificate of incorporation with the Georgia Secretary of State’s office, and that you have also secured office space, with the goal of promoting trade and investment. A trade office in Atlanta also provides you a gateway to the entire United States. Georgia is home to the world’s busiest and most efficient international airport, the country’s fourth-largest and fastest-growing deep water port, and an extensive surface transportation network. Staffing and operating this office would be a step toward strengthening bilateral trade and investment relations between Nigeria and Georgia. The State of Georgia looks forward to further collaboration with the Association of Nigerian Exporters”.

The ANE USA Inc Trade Office & Export House will fill the Trade Infrastructure gap that has undermined Nigerian Export Trade under African Growth & Opportunity Act (AGOA). The Export House offers full Export Trading Company Services including Warehousing, Showrooms and Distribution networks for Nigerian goods in the USA.

Export House is an approved Export Infrastructure Scheme approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria. The Association looks up to partnering with State governments, banks and major manufacturers, producer associations to boost Nigerian non oil exports through the ANE Trade Office and Export House in Atlanta.
