The
2ND NEXIMART EXPO (Nigerian Export Exhibition & Investment Market) scheduled for November 28- December 1, 2007 in Washington DC, USA has been postponed to early 2008 following the outcomes of the Strategic Partners Meeting of November 8, 2007 hosted by the Director of Trade, Federal Ministry of Commerce & Industry Dr. Ochi Achinivu with the delegation of Association of Nigerian Exporters (ANE) represented by Prince Joseph Idiong, ANE Director General/NEXIMART Facilitator and Dr. T. A. Ogunfemi, Senior Policy Adviser (ANE).
2. A New Date has been proposed to the Honourable Minister of Commerce & Industry for confirmation to fit his event schedule and enable him attend as Leader of Government Delegation. The new dates would be announced shortly to meet the dateline for submission of 2008 Trade Shows to Government.
3. Registration:
Registered Participants are please advised that their registrations remain valid for the rescheduled date as per advertised terms on postponement; that is ‘In the case of postponement, a rescheduled date and credit remain valid for twelve months’.
New Applicants are advised to go ahead with their registration formalities and complete that as soon as possible to enable us forward their names to our US partners for match-making and the Embassy.
4. Applicants wishing to process VISAs or NUSA Registration have the opportunity to complete registration immediately so that their names might be forwarded to the US Embassy, and they can request for assistance from the NEXIMART Facilitator
